Services
The Key Services unit is responsible for the security of all building doors, safes, vaults, files and locking devices, and grand master key systems through installation, maintenance and repair of a wide range of locking mechanisms and related hardware. This work includes:
- Installation & repair of door closers and hardware
- Key check out
- Key orders (new and duplications)
- Lock changes and repairs
- Master-key system design
- Door closers & hardware

Request Temporary Keys
Temporary key checkouts are available for a maximum of 30 days. You will be notified when the keys are ready to be picked up. We do not mail keys.

Pick up your keys at Security Engineering Services, 806 University Capitol Centre (basement). We do not send keys in the mail. Only authorized staff may pick up keys.
Return keys in person before the expiration date to Security Engineering Services. Do not send keys in the mail.

Security Engineering Services only duplicates university keys with proper authorization. Facilities Management employees can turn in damaged keys for replacement with required requisition.
