Two frequently used Campus Safety services have moved to the first floor of UCC in an effort to make them more visible to the campus community.
As of Monday, Nov. 6, both Lost and Found and Fingerprinting Services are being offered out of 139 UCC, located on the first floor in the suite next to Student Disability Services.
The new Campus Safety Service Center will eventually house Community Outreach, the Threat Assessment Team, and include a space for Student Care and Assistance to meet with students as well as a Community Room that’s open for all students and employees to use for events, meetings, and other activities. That transition is still taking place, and an open house will be announced in the coming months.
The Campus Safety Service Center will be open from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday through Friday.
All other Campus Safety services will continue to operate out of 808 UCC, on the lower level of the building. This space is staffed 24/7 to provide emergency response services to campus.
The Campus Safety Service Center is one of the Reimagining Campus Safety and Campus Safety Realignment implementation strategies.
