In the interest of campus safety, we want everyone to be aware University of Iowa officials received a report of a sexual assault that occurred during the early morning hours on Thursday, Feb. 22, in an east side residence hall. The assault was reportedly perpetrated by an acquaintance. 

UI expands 24/7 Support and Crisis Line services to faculty, staff, postdocs

The 24-hour crisis line has been available to students since fall 2021. Employees can call or text 844-461-5420 for free and confidential support. The service also includes an option to chat online with a trained crisis counselor. Anyone with an immediate concern for the safety of themselves or others should call 911.
