In the interest of campus safety, we want everyone to be aware University of Iowa officials received a report of fondling, a form of sexual assault, that recently occurred during the day time hours at an east side residence hall. No additional information is available at this time.

Following a successful partnership launched last spring, the University of Iowa Police Department and Iowa City Police Department will continue joint downtown patrols throughout the fall semester. These patrols increase officer visibility during peak hours on Friday and Saturday nights and add to Iowa City’s existing downtown public safety resources.
