Crime Alert: Burglary

The University of Iowa Police Department received a report of a burglary on May 16, 2023, at the Aspire at West Campus residential housing facility. The resident was away for a period of time and upon their return, found their door unlocked and items stolen. This incident is currently under investigation.

UI Police received a report of a potential burglary in a west side residence hall. The reporting party shared that an item either went missing or was stolen from their residence hall room between April 7 and April 9 when they were out of town. There were no signs of forced entry.

It also prioritizes connecting people with campus and community resources such as the GuideLink Center, and resources offered by the Division of Student Life.
