Following a successful partnership launched last spring, the University of Iowa Police Department and Iowa City Police Department will continue joint downtown patrols throughout the fall semester. These patrols increase officer visibility during peak hours on Friday and Saturday nights and add to Iowa City’s existing downtown public safety resources.

As another academic year begins, here are some reminders about the many free safety services, resources, and educational programs offered by Campus Safety to help you have a great semester.

A film screening of the movie DEAR LARA will presented at 6:30 p.m. on Sept. 10 in partnership with DVIP/RVAP and Sexual Assault Survivors at Iowa (SASI). The screening and post-screening panel discussion with representatives from DVIP/RVAP as well as Amber Joy Powell and Katharine Baker will take place at Film Scene.
